keep going, keep doing

We go and keep going,
until the object of game seems to be
"to go and keep on going."

We do and keep on doing,
until we do
without knowing,
without feeling.

Is there no time to stop and reflect?
Is there no time to stop or
is there no time?

If we stopped,
would we keep on going?
If we reflected,
would we keep doing what we do?

For what we have done
and where we have done
is dissolved into oblivion
or strung into meaningless chain,
or half remembered this and that.

If there is no reflection
In all our doing have we done anything?
In all our going have we been anywhere?
